I have the opportunity to put myself forward for reduced hours at work - something I would love to do and could afford - and it's kinda of killing me to be responsible and say no because with everything that's going on right now I have no idea if it will still be affordable in six months or a year.
Today's movie is one of the more cruelly sexist ones I've watched.
Living in a Big Way (1947)
I've added like 40+ games to my steam wishlist over the last couple weeks. I played 18 games total last year. This seems problematic.
Today's film has a lot of bullfighting.
Fiesta (1947)
Today's film is a Groucho Marx & Carmen Miranda comedy that's a bit too unfocused to work.
Copacabana (1947)
Hey folks, my new video is live now! And if you were watching live, is secretly a TOP 13 video! I cheated. It's by far my biggest one yet, and I'm really proud of this one, so please do share it around and leave a comment on the vid if you don't mind, it really helps and I love to read 'em! 💜
Studios, I'm begging you to make your old movies available *somewhere*. They're doing no one any good sitting rotting in a vault.
For my movie tonight I had to choose between a 240p video where I couldn't make out anyone's faces, or a terrible wobbly VCR rip. Went with the latter because I could at least tell who was on the screen.
Tonight we've got the fifth Teen Agers film, with a new director but the same old teens. By which I mean most of them are approaching 30.
Sarge Goes to College (1947)
Today's movie is a very charming Soviet Russian fairy tale.
