Today's movie is one of the more cruelly sexist ones I've watched.
Living in a Big Way (1947)
In Living in a Big Way (dir. Gregory La Cava), Gene Kelly plays Lieutenant Leo Gogarty, who at the onset of WWII is hastily married to Margaud Morgan (Marie McDonald), a woman he's known for only a few days, before shipping out to Europe. Three years later, he returns to find that Margaud - whose family became rich during the war through defence contracts - has changed and wants to get a quick divorce.
