He does for a bit, then discovers the Cost of Him Not Questing
For the day that is: how lucky were we that Marc Bloch dedicated his curiosity and care to both trying to make his present better and to helping us understand the past better?
A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts. Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir. This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/st...

No, it's because only 3.1 percent of the Dutch population live in poverty as opposed to 20 percent of the British population. The Guardian really needs to stop publishing irresponsible lifestyle crap as news. (The Avondvierdaagse is a nice tradition though.) www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

You can see with a lot of mutual aid seekers. That's why we have to know it's a function of our times, because a lot is coming for all of us. Multiple of my friends who are now mutual seekers, homeless & more, I first became friends with when they were housed in lives of stability like many of you.

Many social media platforms are run by tech billionaires who profit from cultivating racism, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, etc. The political desire to exclude entire groups of people for “their safety” rather than hold the moguls accountable and ensure platforms are safer is pathetic.

How proud I am of seeing one of the brilliant MA Folklore Studies @herts.ac.uk postgraduates delivering such a fascinating, insightful, and important paper on Black British music as folk at the @folkloresociety.bsky.social conference
