I notice that today's Kindle Daily Deals include all of Tom Clancy's (terribly out of date imv) books.
One could view this a couple of ways. Is someone preparing us for the US starting a ground war in Iran? Or is this a misty eyed desire for a time when the enemy didn't shoot back effectively?

Been to Putney to watch our son in the Head of the River race. His boat came third overall, which was nice. He's rather chuffed.

Barry Caldwell, the animator and director known for 'Animaniacs' (1993-'98) and 'Osmosis Jones' (2001), has died. He was 68.
