Always enjoyed Salem's Lot, but never understood why the two non-plussed chickens at the top of the poster failed to appear
Grim listening for a Monday. Summarises everything I heard and read already in one handy podcast.

🚨🚨special episode: I spoke to the UK’s former head of international energy strategy about what the war means for global energy supplies. It’s bad news, I’m afraid. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/b...
I think the main challenge is how grey the winters can be. January in Britain and especially Scotland tends to be miserably dark. As for the summers, my brother who lives in Stirling jokes that if you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes and some different weather will be along.

Just dropped a podcast episode (will be out 4am UK time tomorrow - 30/3) with the former head of UK international energy policy about the realities of the energy crisis to come. We're only getting started. I cannot believe how little the government has prepared the ground for what's coming...
I've come to realise I've got a thing for gateways to other places within our world such as Go-by Street in Dunsany's works, or the layered worlds of The City and the City, The Great When, Undone, Kraken and the Fractured Europe books. I think seed was probably set in DNA's Long Dark Teatime
That's a shame, you were deprived of the sight of herds of wildebeests sweeping majestically down the A39.
I think that's a Scottish summer.
I think he wants us in the UK to step in and clear up the mess your President has made. Just to be clear, apart from some dozy fuckers in Reform, nobody here in the UK wants to have anything to do with this bloody mess. The US broke it, the US can fix it.
Maybe it's something other than a ghost?
