A reminder that judges are NOT supposed to be neutral emotionless umpires calling balls and strikes. That's right wing propaganda invented by the Federalist Society.
They're supposed to be impartial purveyors of justice, not neutral robots chained to the text regardless of the consequences.
This is bad. At least 9 county prosecutors in pro-Trump areas of Virginia have now openly declared that they won't enforce the assault weapons ban that the Dem state legislature recently passed.
It's a MAGA nullification movement.
