VA and the two purpling Southern states (NC & GA) are almost certainly going to see more of these nullification efforts in the future.
The historical tradition of illiberalism in the South and the deep spread of MAGA politics in region make it all but certain.

Bigger story here is states like Virginia are undergoing what I call "de-south-ification." Spanberger's 15-point win shows power shifting away from rural areas in VA. Also to lesser extent in NC and GA. At some point Spanberger will have to address this rebellion.
