KATU News recently posted a video about cuts to Portland Police and response times.
I do think it’s important to point out concerning data from Portland for All showing a massive slowdown in police response times vs. fire (182% vs 11%), despite staffing for both remaining stable since 2022.

I’m pretty firmly against Waymo and I’m not buying arguments that it’s safer based on what I’ve seen. Mayor Wilson gave approval to them before going through a PBOT process or with Council…so we’re gonna have to correct that.
The thing nobody wants to talk about is how the cops control blue cities in ways people can’t understand (see LA) and it’s very hard to push back. (Remember NYPD doxxing DiBlasio’s daughter?) It’s a nationwide problem.
