This. I promise you this is true—in bathrooms the bullying & harassment comes from cisgender folks and is aimed at transgender (and other cisgender) victims. My experience is based on decades of life as a cisgender woman using restrooms and locker rooms.

Guest speakers from outside NC had to turn down invitations to speak at medical events in NC. The result was that health research & scholarly exchange in NC were harmed by HB2.
And INTERNATIONAL health research was also harmed (there’s a huge amount of such research, at UNC, Duke, RTP, etc)
