After a week of antibiotics and not seeing improvement, poor baby had surgery today to get the painful lumps removed. It was successful and she is currently resting. The lumps have been sent to a lab for testing - fingers crossed it wasn't something bad 🥺
Kitty was not entirely out of the woods after all. We discovered two abscesses (probably from her violent antics last vet visit) for which she is now being treated. It took 4 liquid snack tubes to examine her and get her blood, but other than the infections that she is in perfect health ❤️

Every so often my opinion on worldbuilding is vindicated by its own largest communities online
If you are writing a narrative, a linear story or set of stories, heavy worldbuilding is Sugar of Lead: it tastes sweet, but it poisons you bit by bit if you don't understand what you're working with.
