another idea for a conceptual artwork is to take some men's clothing, but cut all the pockets out and sew the openings shut, then display the clothing as if it's in a store, and viewers of the artwork are invited to touch and examine the clothing as if they were shopping
makes me want to do a conceptual artwork where I sew a clothing item that has a ton of pockets, sort of like a fishing vest or camera vest, but in a more stylish fabric than those typically come in. and wear it to some event with a restrictive bag policy with all my items inside
let's say I'm attending this watch party event: I want my phone, keys, [small] wallet, probably a portable charger + cable, hand sanitizer, lip balm, menstrual products just in case, maybe hand cream, tweezers, nail clippers/file, maybe a few other small things.
as a more understated idea, I could make a waist apron like some restaurant servers wear with spacious pockets that can hold a lot of stuff. I wonder if that would be considered a "bag"??? www.customink.com/products/wor...
