The results here re 3D classification are quite impressive. Would be interesting to see how much the LPP improves classification of near-native samples with extreme compositional heterogeneity (e.g. derived from cellular fractions)
I am looking to recruit 2 postdoctoral fellows to the lab to work on a recently funded project focused on class switch recombination in B cells. If you are interested in immunology, gene expression, and RNA and protein single molecule imaging, please reach out ([email protected]). Please share!

Phase plates can in principle overcome the poor image contrast in electron cryo–microscopy (cryo-EM) and the resulting limits on the structural reconstruction of small proteins. However, previous desi...
Today my laboratory is thrilled to announce a major breakthrough in the fight against the common cold and other diseases like hand, foot, and mouth disease acute flaccid myelitis caused by picornaviruses. We present the first structure of picornaviral 2C, bound to ssRNA (1/n)
If you have experience in biochemistry/cryo-EM,
are interested in DNA replication, and would like to do a postdoc in New York - our lab has positions available! Just DM or email me with your CV.
📢 We are looking for a Junior Group Leader to join us at @institutcurie.bsky.social!
Having joined the department just over a year ago, I can honestly say that it is an exceptionally stimulating and supportive scientific environment, filled with outstanding colleagues — all in the heart of Paris.
Now online @pnas.org: We developed a simple, scalable, and accessible platform for deep profiling of phosphoeraser specificity using human phosphoproteome-derived peptide libraries (PhosPropels!) 🧪👩🔬https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2523183123

In a series of 3 papers and preprints, we’re thrilled to share with you the working laser phase plate. In collaboration with research led by Holger Müller at UC Berkeley, this is a huge innovation in imaging to make small and faint objects inside cells visible. bit.ly/4vK9LVn
