What many people are not ready to admit, is what we should protect kids from is not social media or the internet, it is the parents. Social media bans assist abusive parents.
one thing going unmentioned with the whole banning minors from the internet thing is that it just bans them but not their parents. no comment made on all the instagram moms who legitimately pimp their (pre)teen daughters out to men lol
