The creature is very excited about these sad grey apples
I've implemented better fog (atmospheric perspective) in my shaders, so distance fades not just towards a single color (like classic fog), but a color which itself gets paler with distance. This adds so much depth to distant parts of the view and I feel it makes the landscape "breathe". #GameDev

Moon is being taken over by axolotls
In this case it’s just one animal but I did experiment a while ago with having deer and rabbits that reproduced by budding. It was super neat; I’ll probably include it at some point
Made some changes to the procedural walk animation; it's still weird but in a more interesting way
One fun thing about building a critter sim is testing out chasing and eating behavior. Look at them go! The apples are almost as big as they are! They look so full of joy!!!
This is probably a controversial opinion but I actually think every animal should have a smaller version of itself growing out of its back
