I've implemented better fog (atmospheric perspective) in my shaders, so distance fades not just towards a single color (like classic fog), but a color which itself gets paler with distance. This adds so much depth to distant parts of the view and I feel it makes the landscape "breathe".

One fun thing about building a critter sim is testing out chasing and eating behavior. Look at them go! The apples are almost as big as they are! They look so full of joy!!!
Made some changes to the procedural walk animation; it's still weird but in a more interesting way
