we should actually teach minors that trans people exist and that you might be one and that even if you aren't, you still don't have to be 100% the gender you were assigned at birth. there is no "right time" to broach the subject with young people, unless that time is "as soon as possible"
just called my local Lib MP to complain about bill c-22. i was less informed about the surveillance but i gave him a earful about how age verification is going to harm queer communities & make kids less safe. staffer told me this was the first phone call they've gotten. y'all pick up the phone!
