one of the benefits of being a trans parent is hanging out with my kids’ friends and i hope there’s a kid out there who goes “ooooooh that’s a thing i could do!”

we should actually teach minors that trans people exist and that you might be one and that even if you aren't, you still don't have to be 100% the gender you were assigned at birth. there is no "right time" to broach the subject with young people, unless that time is "as soon as possible"
