Hmm. This is obviously something I should find incredibly exciting, but, for some reason, I just don't. He's clearly a top player: well-rounded, physical, effective - it's no surprise top teams are circling. But if Spurs have set aside £80m for a midfielder, there are others I'd much prefer.

🚨 Tottenham Hotspur want Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United. Positive talks between #THFC & 26yo; no contact yet with #NUFC. Transfer fee bigger hurdle than player deal. There has been no contact so far with Newcastle, but if an agreement looks possible with the player, this is expected to follow.

Surely Spurs aren’t even giving Brighton’s offer of £30m for Luka Vusković a second thought. It will be take a bid of double that for Spurs to even consider, but really they’d be mad to sell at any price. A two-year loan however, to sweeten a deal for J-P Van Hecke, would be a win for all parties.

Do Spurs still have their affiliation with Djurgardens? If so, picking up Matias Siltanen this summer and sending him on a Eredivisie or Belgian Pro League loan would be an easy win.
Yes, I watched the same interview - it got me so excited
