Hmm. This is obviously something I should find incredibly exciting, but, for some reason, I just don't.
He's clearly a top player: well-rounded, physical, effective - it's no surprise top teams are circling.
But if Spurs have set aside £80m for a midfielder, there are others I'd much prefer.

There has been no contact so far with Newcastle, but if an agreement looks possible with the player, this is expected to follow.
