#SpoonieAuthChat June 11:
Truth be told, if nothing else I've learned that sometimes I'm not going to be able to Do The Thingβ’οΈ and that's okay. My writing experience hasn't been the same twice since 2020, so I just have to roll with it.
And I have to relearn it with every new project π
Figured you all might enjoy my very non exhaustive list of queer nonfiction. I have so many more titles that I couldn't lay my hands on or have checked out from the library.
Happy Pride
Yes kink at Pride, no Pride should not have to, on a whole, be "family friendly," but also I do think there should be places at Pride for queer and trans youth to be a part of the community.
#PrideBookFair Day 3:
I read/write across rep & genres. I love it all. Lately, it's been more low/no-heat, cozy reads. I find myself needing comforting of spaces to escape The Horrorsβ’οΈ
Not that sex in books can't be comforting, but it calls to mind my VERY complicated relationship w/sex. No bueno.
What queer representation do you tend to read or write about the most?
there's not enough of it, but ace or no/low spice F/F (echo archives are basically my platonic ideal for books π) and it's why i wrote DND, now in audio! #PrideBookFair #booksky πποΈ
