Honestly, it's my spouse @nocturnalmask.bsky.social, then my OG #WritingCommunity folx from the former bird app @authorkaraj.bsky.social & @amaralynn.bsky.social, and of course the amazing folks here in the Bsky writing community, who are honestly too numerous to name 😍
The day after forgetting to take my meds always sucks. The nihilism doubles up with the darker thoughts and everything just looks dark, hopeless, and pointless.
Once levels are back to normal, I'll be better, but ugh. Just ugh.
Add to that that I am a control enthusiast and, well, self pub was the thing for me. 😂

Self pub was pretty much always the way I was going. I write queer characters, I write outside heteronormative bullshit, I write cozy fantasy, and I have disabled rep. When I first started, no tradpub would have taken me. Now things are a bit more open, but my writing still isn't "profitable."
Today I edited my short story & sent it to my spouse for him to look over and give feedback. After that, I'm submitting it to the anthology.
Tomorrow, I really want to make it a goal to write more for Darius & Morgan 2. I feel like I stalled a bit, & I want to get back to it.
