Image from @BLEACHanimation. Social media for the series announced that the anime will air on TV Tokyo and its Japanese affiliates at 11:00 pm on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Streaming will begin an hour later at 12:00 am on Sunday, July 26, 2026. In Canada, fans can watch the anime on Disney+. The songs “I‑BULL” by jo0ji and “Rasen” by 9Lana were also revealed as the opening and ending themes, respectively.

On Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, come out and cheer on Canada. As one of the World Cup’s host countries, you can expect plenty of soccer (or football, if you prefer)‑themed celebrations happening throughout our communities. All events are free and family-friendly. Consider taking transit as road restrictions are effect for the festivities alongside the ongoing World Cup at BC Place Stadium. All TransLink services will operate on their Sunday/Holiday schedule. Royal Canadian Navy ships docked at the Shipyards in North Vancouver on July 1, 2025. Fans looking forward to the upcoming Chainsaw Man: Assassins Arc now have a new teaser video to hype them up. First announced during Jump Festa last December, the latest adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s hit manga series is well into production. However, no new information regarding its release was mentioned. Staff returning to work on the series include director Tatsuya Yoshihara, screenplay writer Hiroshi Seko, music composer Kensuke Ushio, character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama, and editor Masato Yoshitake. Animation production is by MAPPA. The Japanese voice cast was also confirmed, with Kikunosuke Totani as Denji, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Tomori Kusunoki as Makima, Shogo Sakata as Aki Hayakawa, Fairouz Ai as Power, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama, Kenjiro Tsuda as Kishibe, Maaya Uchida as the Angel Devil, Natsuki Hanae as Beam, Yuya Uchida as the Violence Devil, and Saori Goto as the Spider Devil.

Crunchyroll drops its summer streaming schedule for 2026
Earlier in April, VIZ Media announced that it had partnered with Fathom Entertainment to bring the first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand‑Year Blood War - The Calamity to the big screen. The catch? Only theatres in the United States were confirmed. At the time, I reached out to VIZ Media to ask whether Canadian theatres would also show these episodes but did not receive a response. It is now confirmed that Cineplex and Landmark Cinemas locations across Canada will screen the episodes in subtitled and dubbed formats starting Thursday, June 25th, 2026.

The My Hero Academia In Concert tour is going global, and the Canadian stops were just announced. Aspiring heroes here will have only two opportunities next year to experience the melodies: Vancouver and Toronto. First announced during Jump Festa last December, the concert celebrates the anime’s tenth anniversary. In it, Tanemura confirms he is directing again and that Asta and the others are coming back after a long break. A remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this year to mark the franchise’s 40th anniversary. The reveal was made during a Nintendo Direct presentation held on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, confirming rumours circulating on social media that a remake of the 1998 classic was under development. Considered one of the greatest games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time brought the series into the era of 3D gaming and introduced a number of elements now familiar to the franchise, including targeting and horseback riding.

Final Fantasy VII Remake concludes in Spring 2027
Storied Swiss chocolatier Läderach is opening a new retail outlet, this time in Vancouver's CF Pacific Centre mall. Hoarding in the underground downtown shopping complex shows the location opening in the Fall of 2026. A delicious selection of FrischShoggi seen at Läderach in CF Richmond Centre. Läderach has another store, their first in Western Canada, in CF Richmond Centre which first welcomed chocoholics in August 2025. The 64-year-old family-run chocolatier is known for its selection of high-end confectionery, including its famous FrischShoggi — slabs of unique creations made with fresh chocolate and a variety of fruits, nuts, and other ingredients.
