Earlier in April, VIZ Media announced that it had partnered with Fathom Entertainment to bring the first three episodes of Bleach: Thousand‑Year Blood War - The Calamity to the big screen. The catch? Only theatres in the United States were confirmed. At the time, I reached out to VIZ Media to ask whether Canadian theatres would also show these episodes but did not receive a response. It is now confirmed that Cineplex and Landmark Cinemas locations across Canada will screen the episodes in subtitled and dubbed formats starting Thursday, June 25th, 2026.

The My Hero Academia In Concert tour is going global, and the Canadian stops were just announced. Aspiring heroes here will have only two opportunities next year to experience the melodies: Vancouver and Toronto.
