Kind of wild that Bari Weiss' rise to power happened all because after the 2016 election, NYT wanted to shift its opinion pages rightward by bringing Pulitzer-winning columnist Brett Stephens and an editor over from WSJ to fight claims of "liberal bias."
I’ve written to my Labour MP every week since April 2025 asking to meet him about their bathroom ban and segregation rules and I just now got a boilerplate reply that didn’t address anything I said.
