I like to check what im doing in black and white from time to time to get a good gauge on luminance because colours can really mess with your perception quite often. I think I might need some contrast enhancement. But also wanna be mindful of pixel fucking stuff too much

Fell into a rabbit hole with Substrate in unreal because I wanted decent frosted glass on 1 asset
Actually it looks great if I yeet refraction from the shader completely. Honestly im more after that frosted look than realistic refraction.
sometimes you need to design a whole-ass vehicle just so you can break it back down again. i really liked encountering wrecks of the past like this in HZD, and the team put a lot of effort into the worldbuilding/implied elements in Breaker
Orbitals looks so so good. I want to make art like that. Can’t wait to play it.
The refraction breaks my post processing outline shader but Substrate is absolutely cool. Look at that roughness on that transparency <3
