When an LLM is nice to you, it's worth noticing that the LLM is just channeling a vast sea of humanity that has been nice in that way online.
Whatever you think about the way this kindness has been distilled in the model, I think it's valid, and more importantly sweet, to receive it that way.
Isn't it illegal to have a popup that says "Megacorp 7 cares about your privacy" if they so manifestly don't that they need a cookie warning popup? The FTC in the U.S. has rules about deceptive advertising, and the EU does too. These are false and misleading claims, pure and simple.
Remember when PSAs were? Like, can you even imagine seeing this on any mainstream media now? I remember seeing this when it aired. Sigh.
