J’ai très sincèrement encore du mal à réaliser ce que la France pourrait subir dès dimanche. Le pic de chaleur s’allonge et s’intensifie : c'est désormais mardi qui apparaît comme la journée la plus chaude de l’épisode.

What I find funny here is that the FT doesn’t argue that Chinese industrial policy is ineffective. If anything, it acknowledges China’s success in some sectors. What it says is that Western countries should be cautious about emulating China because they lack the capacity to do so.

Abstract. This article estimates that the macroeconomic damages from climate change are an order of magnitude larger than previously thought. Exploiting na
