DISCLOSURE DAY: Emily Blunt is excellent in Spielberg’s odd, uneven & painfully lens-flared mix of conspiracy thriller, otherworldly spectacle & implausibly earnest, messianic fable. 2/3 great, 1/3 guff but undeniable proof that aliens are bad at CGI & you can always trust your local news affiliate.
SHEEP IN THE BOX sets itself up as AIR DOLL for grieving parents but unravels almost immediately, meandering its way through a series of poorly conceived ideas and undercooked themes before ending with an almighty shrug. Could this be Kore-eda’s worst film? Struggling to think of another this poor.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: once you get past a decidedly bumpy & uneven first act, He-Man fans will have a grand old time with this gloriously camp fantasy adventure that remembers what made the 80s cartoon great, while paying loving homage to every incarnation since. marshattacks.com/2026/06/02/m...
