This is the first step towards a self-service tool that will give Ethereum node operators critical information about their node’s operational health and behaviour.
Check out ProbeLab's update on the most notable results on @ipfs.tech from the past few weeks here: discuss.ipfs.tech/t/probelabs-... and, as usual, follow all the action at: probelab.io.
Once the full service is out, you’ll be able to find out about: transport connection establishment success, list of protocols supported by the peer, RTT measurements from several locations, list of open ports and more. Stay tuned!
At ProbeLab, we just launched an ENR viewer! The tool allows to decode and inspect @ethereum.org Node Records. Inserting your ENR will give information about your node’s ID, public key, IP address, ports, and GeoIP, hosting provider. Check it out at: probelab.io/enr-viewer/.
