Seems every month cases have to be closed. If the VA lags on following through with the programs requested, my case has to be reopened and the interviews done again and home inspection... I expect that to happen. It is weird. My fear is that they will pass my case off to a different APS worker...
The other part is that if the VA does not follow through with the recommendations that APS makes, we have to do this again. Once you are part of APS, they have to resolve issues. My caseworker said she was my advocate and she was going to get me everything I wanted from the VA.
I didn't know if I was going to jail. I don't look as disabled as I am and I question if I would leave jail alive? Or would my jailers kill me? Being physically disabled, invisible disabilities, and hearing impaired has meant death for many in the disability realm.
