Think of motor learning (learning to move) like parking a car. I could explain every tiny steering angle, but the parking space teaches you better. Using objects and obstacles does the same thing for your body. A million words could not do the job of a few well-placed conditions.
The inability to straighten and control the ankle during a kick can cause serious issues for both the kicker and receiver. It can also increase the likelihood of losing balance or rolling the ankle.
