We once experimented with a stress mechanic!
If your design took too long or didn't meet the customer's request, you'd start losing daily time points & you'd need to relax to recover.
But that discouraged FAFO-ing, which is half the joy of the game! We cut it, and rejigged the relax mechanic. 😌
same should go for your event / talk posters for conferences :))
Shape Sender Deluxe used to have a scoring system to use as few tools as possible.
BUT it stopped people just creatively *playing* with the systems and instead changed it to be about optimization which was less aligned with the game vision.

I will not accept an argument that art and creativity have been uniquely democratised in the last few years since the invention of genAI. What a disservice to human history. How little regard you must have for the billions of souls that struggled through unimaginable suffering to express themselves.
