Not only are they failing to asking survivors if the abuse has decreased (i.e. measuring the actual intended outcome), the cheap option of former perpetrators taking over courses from qualified practitioners seems to be giving abusers a cosy mens' group rather than changing behaviour.
Deputy PM Seymour emailed woman querying Minister Chhour's excess parking costs saying, “Are you ready to accept you’ve just had a beating?” re her history of escaping a violent relationship and suffering ongoing PTSD. 😒
He has now apologised for his comment.
