Revisiting Bartimaeus was legit such an amazing experience and this was so lackluster in comparison. It certainly wasn't bad, but idk the way it thinks through its fantasy world is so literally juvenile, this is a book for first graders really, idk
do you really promise that if i get dressed and go to work there will be a huge tornado and then jade harley and reigen arataka will show up and take me away from work to an alien planet and i have super powers like in the movie sharkboy and lavagirl
since I was player two as a kid I'm surprised I've drawn so little art of Tails, it's definitely on my list of things to fix though I just struggle with getting the motivation

older brother who's little age is clearly 12 voice: my little age is 6-7
I finally finished this book and yeah idk I don't know if it really has the sauce that I thought it might. Tbh it's no wonder I fell off the series if I already was at the same time engaging in fantasy that had a lot more care to treat its YA audience with emotional and narrative maturity
The narrative voice thing continued to be kind of grating all the way through. I love a grounded POV character too much to enjoy the focus bouncing around from character to character inside a single scene.
Help me move out!!
Im trying to move out of state to be with my girlfriend, it’s been hard collecting funds since I am disabled.
Art is my main source of income, I could really use the help.

I don't think I'm gonna continue with this series which is kind of sad. I really wanted to like it!!! I'm gonna go back to wings of fire which I know I'll like
