I've listened to several interviews now from retired high ranking military personnel about how this war in Iran goes & every single one of them has brought up the idea of nuclear weapons & a conscription in the US.

Maybe if we can get that out in the open now, we don't have to have every single election cycle dominated by who ❤️pipelines more. Are we talking 2? 3? 5? 10 more? How many?
If Albertan's don't want to be governed by openly corrupt people that use the most ignorant in our society to bolster their position, they better put some serious thought into why they keep getting caught in these traps. I know I have.
The future is now.
Personally I think it would be fair to the rest of Canada if Albertan politicians got together with the corporate fossil fuel owners of Alberta & settled on a definitive number of pipelines that the rest of Canada has to be blackmailed into agreeing to before they stop threatening the country.
It's such a bizarre position because the vast majority of Albertan's reject things like separation and the weirdo anti-vaxxers/climate change deniers that are behind it & yet they will turn around & get upset when the rest of Canada wants to embrace change.
This Alberta vs Canada narrative that the fossil fuel industry in Alberta has convinced all political parties and a large number of citizens is required has no benefit for Albertan's. Personally I will not be used as a pawn for an industry that will not even take care of its own environmental
liabilities. It's a fools game played by fools. It's deeply disappointing that we can't see our way clear of it, but it has been described in detail many times in many places using terms like the resource curse & the resource trap.
