I counted 6 looped sections from the bass and guitar in the first minute.
And for those that don't know, looping is basically pressing a foot pedal, playing a sequence of notes to record it, pressing it again to stop recording but that part will keep playing, then recording a new part which will also keep playing over the first part and on and on.
I just read an interview with them on guitar world and they said they decided to do the the microtonal stuff because it made them laugh.
And that's how you make music. Or any art.
Do stuff you enjoy. That makes you laugh.
You might be the next big thing.
Or not. But you will have had fun.
