I would vote for Platner over Collins if I lived in Maine, but if you want an example of how nominating people like this is toxic, people defending him with “thinking DV is bad is too woke” is a great example.
Democrats should also be really thinking now about insane it's going to feel if we win in 2028 and Musk is babbling about the need for a race war and calling the president a satanic pedophile while also being the most important government contractor in the country.
Super looking forward to civil rights laws protecting only white dudes. Black plaintiffs will have to prove an employer had discriminatory intent. White plaintiffs will too—but they’ll just point to DEI policies as proof of discriminatory intent and some Trump judge is going to say sure ok.
