We tested a way to selectively increase delivery of nano-formulated drugs into solid tumours by disrupting their immature blood vessel system. In a syngeneic mouse model for TNBC (4T1) we combined 💊 clinically approved nano-formulated drug 💉 low-dose small molecule microtubule destabiliser (CA4P)
What happened? 🎯 We made sure that all tumours were large enough to be neo-vascularised at the start of treatment ⏩ fast forward to 2nd/3rd treatment: no CA4P-dependent drug accumulation inside tumours anymore.
