Spent the weekend finishing my paper for this conference in Santiago this week. It has led me to revisit my work on the 'Europolitan' nature of Italian Renaissance humanism and it is stimulating to think afresh. Very much looking forward to hearing the other papers and being inspired by them.
Steely skies and a breezy day but I know a warm welcome awaits inside as I come for some #fragment fun.

+ Looking ahead, a bumper double issue for 2026 will appear in the late autumn - we have some treats lined up for you in that - ahead of the exciting changes already announced by @mediumaevum.bsky.social
I'm on a roll with @magdalenoxford.bsky.social manuscripts. In the last few weeks, identified one book of hours as probably made for the future Suxtus IV, and in another ms an unnoticed copy of Richard Swineshead's Calculationes. Now onto this beauty, the last one needing a finalised description.
