Can confirm. I started my current job in January 2021, during the third UK lockdown. I didn't meet most of my team in person until April/May of that year. Sure enough, they were all centaurs.

Working from home means you only ever see your coworkers on video calls, and since video calls only show the top half of a person, you can never be too sure about whether or not your coworkers are centaurs.
