There have been 3 major citizen petitions in Alberta this year. Two of them followed the rules & got the required verified signatures. One stole 3M people’s identities, posed an illegal question, and did not get the verified signatures.

It's hard to accept Premier Smith's call on chiefs to "check themselves" for asking for an RCMP investigation into treason...
...when her most trusted advisors admit that their plan is "treasonous" and "illegal."
Her own team has introduced those words into the discussion.

Confusingly, she said it could happen as early as Oct 2027, which would be a violation of the Citizen Initiative Act.
