I just saw a study that indicated that conservative political beliefs are correlated to not course correcting when proven wrong. And I'm thinking about how child me never heard, "I'm sorry, I was wrong."

Tadpoles vs Wasps | BBC Earth
More and more, I think a super important things adults can teach children is to be okay with having been wrong, admitting to having been wrong, and course-correcting on the basis of new evidence. So much of the harmful behaviors we encounter are about people who are Not Okay with being wrong.
Just to be clear there is no such thing as the "Fountain Pen Institute", the AI that generates these fake statistics is inordinately fond of the number 68%, and future google searches are going to lead to this bollocks instead of the vast wealth of knowledge from actual hobbyists. Get bent.
