This is just like authoritarian parenting. Oh did you just tell me no? Well no I’m going to beat your ass and you’re still going to do it anyway? And for every extra half hour you take to do it, you’re going to get ten more spankings! Etc.
Context for Belfast riots
I mean, I don’t agree with the death penalty and I don’t have a problem with this- but boy do I have a problem with knowing the trump admin is happily joyfully pro death penalty and they’re choosing not go after it here. I don’t want them to-but I don’t want them to for the right reasons.
"We already live in a world where you walk outside and there are billboards and signs that are obvious AI slop. That’s become part of our visual reality. To me, generative AI feels less like innovation than a symptom of a broader cultural and economic rot."

This is good point- I would do a glass of wine over dinner or something similar.
And if they’re not going after the death penalty, I want it to be because they don’t agree with the death penalty, not bcz they want to rub it in the faces of the Ds one last time (and punch the Hortman’s poor fucking kids one last time).
Of course we’ll have to wait and see what is happening but my assumption is that if trump admin really cared about the lives of Melissa Hortman and her husband, theyd be pressuring hard for death penalty. The fact that they’re not says to me (yet again) they don’t give a fuck about the Hortmans.
This man was a garbage parent, a garbage spouse and is now a garbage businessman and a garbage president. And the entire authoritarian fundamentalist garbage ass movement is garbage pieces of shit.
With a record-breaking A24 directorial debut under his belt at age 20, Kane Parsons doesn't see a place for AI in Hollywood's future.
I mean using military force to impose your political terms is the exact definition of war. You can't have a ceasefire while also using military force to impose your will on an adversary.
I can feel my brain bleeding
U.S. prosecutors said Wednesday they will not seek the death penalty as part of a plea agreement with the man charged in the assassinations of the top Democrat in the Minnesota House along with her husband, as well as the attempted murders of a state senator and his wife. https://to.pbs.org/4vERTer
