I am realizing how much work I have to do around fathers lol. Mother’s Day is different for me- an abusive mother sucked ass but I’ve been able to literally rewrite as mamí what a mother is in my own mind and body. Haven’t been able to do that with abusive dad thing.
Soooo I guess I will say happy Father’s Day to all those that also have lots of unhealed angry big huge feelings around shitty fathers. We will make it through another holiday and we will be ok.
