Senator Katie Britt, reading a statement for Chair Chuck Grassley, just called out @wedemandjustice.bsky.social for their "campaigns against Senate Democrats who dared to return blue slips."
"Shame on them," the statement said.
Ranking Member Durbin said the group is "wrong" for their position.
New: @afj.org is opposing Michael Martin's nomination to the Eastern District of Michigan.

Bad week for judicial nominations. By the end of this week:
-Two lifetime confirmations
-Hearing on five lifetime nominees
-Judiciary Committee votes on six (other) lifetime nominees
-Cloture vote on Justin Smith, Trump's personal lawyer, setting up Monday confirmation vote

After returning blue slips on Trump's judicial nominees and allowing them to appear at today's hearing, Senators Fetterman, Peters, and Slotkin didn't even show up to introduce them this morning.
Senator Britt introduced Michael Martin, and Senator McCormick introduced Antonio Pozos.
Nice.
