At its heart, The Peculiar Path is a map of Haunted places and as I’ve recently been bringing the archive online and updating the website, there’s been a lot to consider about how to best organise …
There's one noted at Shap Services on the M6: www.openstreetmap.org/node/1308458...
I suspect they're quite new as the #OpenStreetMap community tends to spot things like this.
Haven't seen any in past 3 weeks: a couple in courtship flight at Barnack.
I usually catch ovipositing females on a nearby Alder Buckthorn around now.

I just kick the seed heads about before finally mowing them. Spreads the seeds adequately.

Long been fascinated by Paul de Kock en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles...
IIRC Lionel Bloom picks up one of his novels from a barrow, and a character in a Dostoyevsky novel (Devils/Possessed or The Idiot) is reading one.
Joyce's
reference might be arcane rather than just to contemporary culture.
Issue was acquired by Bending Spoons, an Italian firm which specialises in 'extracting value' from web apps (usually, by firing all the developers and increasing fees): www.eu-startups.com/2024/07/mila...
If you've previously published the Internet Archive isn't a bad place.
