Republicans don't seem too concerned about our national deficit now that the U.S. is spending billions on Trump's war of choice with Iran.
Why is it that when it comes to health care, we can't afford it—but when it comes to a war with no clear objective, we suddenly have the cash?
A couple more pictures. For years I took buses to downtown in the path where rail is now. So coming into ID station was very cool. Also you can see the Pacific Medical building – which now has affordable housing in front – from the approach / departure from ID station AND from the Judkins platform.

Too mesmerized to take photos much crossing the water. It's surreal to see the reality I've waited for 16 years nearly. Seeing the Mountains to Sound trail as the train climbs towards South Bellevue is amazing. Tomorrow I take the train here and then walk to choir rehearsal before church!
