In Pierce County with Executive Mello to discuss funding I secured to expand Tacoma-Pierce Co. Public Health's mobile medical services.
Trump tried to cut federal funding to help our states fight the addiction crisis by $1B. I stopped him.
This is not the time to cut back on life-saving resources.

Trump and Republicans want more money for a war with no justification.
Ā
They want more money for lawless and violent mass deportations.
Ā
All paid for by cuttingĀ even moreĀ health care for American citizens. I'll do everything I can to stop them.
Gas prices continue to soar because of Trumpās reckless war with Iran.Ā
Ā
The American people didnāt ask for thisāand most canāt afford it.Ā
Ā
NO war with Iran.
Republicans don't seem too concerned about our national deficit now that the U.S. is spending billions on Trump's war of choice with Iran.Ā
Ā
Why is it that when it comes to health care, we can't afford itābut when it comes to a war with no clear objective, we suddenly have the cash?
THANK YOU to the patriots who came out to say there are NO KINGS in the USA! āš
America VOTES this November. šŗšøšŗšøšŗšø
šĀ Washington state's newest addition to public transit: a train running over a floating bridge!Ā š
Ā
I have fought for @sound-transit.bsky.social since its earliest days and seeing the Crosslake Connection finally open was AWESOME!
Ā
THIS is why I'll keep fighting to invest in public transit!Ā š
The Senate passed a bill to fund all of DHS except ICE and Border Patrol.
And we did it with the unanimous consent of ALL 100 SENATORS.
Speaker Johnson refused to vote on this bill and chose to continue holding TSA hostage and to continue Trump's chaos.
REMINDER: The Senate unanimously passed funding for TSA four days ago.
House Republicans refused to even vote on it.
Speaker Johnson, this is on youāstop holding TSA funding HOSTAGE.
After years of wondering and people asking, "When is light rail going to come to Bellevue?"
We have our answer: about every 8 minutes! šš
You can now ride the world's first train on a floating bridge, and that is pretty darn cool.
