Still holds up in a kind of neo-retro futurism. Where 80s grunge is now aspirational for what the future could have been.

Yeah, look at this poster. The Sharks a metaphor for something.
It's so... obvious in the movie too. Almost Zardoz levels of obvious.
And no original idea in its body. Just one big... shark.
If you've never seen this movie, it contains a singularly demented performance from Donald Pleasance unlike anything he's done since, mesmerising

Roy Scheider is back, and wouldn't you know, another shark is at it again.
They made the shark look like Freddy Kreuger... Wow.

It's Geologist Bond vs the Volcano...
And it's so f🔪king boring. Everything takes too long and everyrhings in dutch angles. Looks like it was shot for TV.
