But let's talk about some demos I tried: RETRO SPACE scratches my im-sim itch FIERCE but some design decisions leave me confused. Example: quicksaves are there, but die and it's deleted. Also, you can revive wrong and you have to find your body to stabilise your genes. Dark Souls in my im-sim???

KERNAL HEARTS is a magical girl themed RISK OF RAIN 2 with a hub area where you can talk to and build relationships with the other playable characters. And much like that game, I need to find the one character I vibe with (ENGINEER!) otherwise the roguelike gameloop is lost on me.
