At this point, I genuinely believe the entire public is being actively gaslit by both the media, and Esther Ghey herself, into forgetting that Brianna Ghey was murdered, by people she knew from school, in real life, who were partly influenced by transphobia, fuelled by the media and politicians.

The key thing to understand about this is that it is completely unnecessary. This is a corporation with basically infinite money. They don't have to destroy 30+ year studios to save their bottom line. They're doing this because they are evil.

Sony, Microsoft, and Embracer have collectively destroyed the AAA games industry through sheer incompetence. It's wild that the people responsible for these decisions will likely be rewarded for "cost cutting" or some equivalent bullshit.

The studios, which include Compulsion Games and Double Fine, are in active negotiations with Xbox and may be given the chance to go independent.

Seems to me that @outsidexbox.bsky.social is going to outlast the Xbox brand itself at this point. Fascinating to me that so many people at Xbox/Microsoft are paid and have spent so much money to take a POWERHOUSE from the Xbox 360 era to...whatever the hell it is now.
